About Kenneth Ortiz

Kenneth Ortiz (M.Div.) is a teaching pastor and Director of Communications at Cities Church in St. Paul, MN, a Ph.D. candidate at Midwestern Seminary, and Host of "Theology for the Rest of Us."

He has earned two Bachelors degrees. He has completed his Master of Divinity from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and has continued onto Ph.D. work at the same school. He is also a blogger, successful entrepreneur, the host of the popular podcast "Theology for the Rest of Us," and author of "Redefined: Discovering and Celebrating What God Really Thinks of You."

Kenneth has more than 15 years of pastoral ministry and preaching experience. Kenneth loves studying and discussing the Bible, theology, philosophy, and politics. He has a strong track record of being a great mentor to youth and young adults and he loves coaching adults that are investing in the lives of the next generations. Kenneth is an avid reader, theology nerd, podcast addict, Disney enthusiast, sports fanatic, history buff, and coffee lover.
