Peace; we have all be created for it, we all long for it… but somehow it seems to be very hard to find. Many people look for peace far and wide, whether that be in material, status, or finances. But tomorrow is never guaranteed, and neither are those things we find peace in. Thankfully, there is a source of peace that surpasses this world, and that’s freely given. This is the peace that comes from God Himself.
What does the Bible say about peace? The Bible has a lot to say about peace, with over 100 Bible verses about it. With so much emphasis on peace throughout Scripture, we learn that it is very important to God. Concerning peace, the Bible reveals that peace comes from God, that He desires peace for mankind, and that Jesus is actually is the giver of peace.
Now, ask yourself if you are ready to accept God’s peace in your life. If you are, then these meditations should really help you learn how to dwell with His peace and to learn God’s heart for peace in general.
We have listed Bible verses to meditate on, as well as guided Christian meditations on peace.
Verses to Meditate on for God’s Peace
Each of the verses below are all worthy of meditation for God’s peace. Know that as you meditate on them, the Holy Spirit is transforming your mind from worry to peace, from anxiety to calm. Verses to Reveal that God Desires Peace
God gives peace to His people, not out of pity, but because He actually desires peace for all people. He also calls us to be peacemakers. So once we find peace with Him, we are able to make peace in our world around us. Remember, that peace is not just a feeling, but it is action. As a Christ-follower, we are to create peace through the way we live. We then in return, are blessed by God.
By meditating on the verses below, we will learn God’s heart for peace, and it will empower us by the work of His Holy Spirit to create peace and to have peace with God.

This meditation focuses on the Book of Jude. The meditation guide encourages the church on how to fight the struggles in which we live, and the meditation focuses on the 24th and 25th verses of this book. We are lead through a prayer and then a peaceful, safe, and relaxing meditation. Taking deep, full breaths, we prepare our minds for meditation and prayer.
Now to him who is able to protect you from stumbling and to make you stand in the presence of his glory, without blemish and with great joy, to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, power, and authority before all time, now and forever. Amen.
— Jude 1:24-25
If there is oppression or heavyweight on your heart about the world in which you are living in, then we can confess those to God aloud. Remember that God is present with you, and listen to the verses of Jude. Center on the word, thought, or image that God highlighted to you from the Scripture passage.
This mediation will encourage you that your suffering can actually bring you closer to God. And that He can bring peace, even to the painful and trivial times. We focus our minds on God’s peace.
Although this is one of the most simple meditations I have ever heard, it is a meditation focused on Scripture. This meditation provides inspiration to connect with God about peace and love.
